Leelee Smith Klein

Elizabeth (Leelee) Smith Klein received her bachelor’s degree at Denison University and a Master’s in Education from Bank Street College.  She worked at The Citibank Private Banking Group for 8 years as a relationship manager in the Trusts and Estates Dept. Later, spent several years as a teacher , when her 3 daughters were young. Leelee has served on many community charitable boards and committees over the years. She helped found and develop The Tiny Miracles Foundation ( www.ttmf.org) and served as their President from 2007-2017.

 

She is currently the President Emeritus of The Tiny Miracles Foundation , board member of the NICU Parent Network (www.npn.org) and serves on the New York Alumni Advisory Board for Denison University. Leelee and her husband Michael,  live in Darien, CT, and Edgartown.

 
Leelee discovered the beauty, joy and adventure at Katama Airfield after spending every summer on the island from an early age. She has a profound passion for the airfield’s future and operations. Her dedication to maintaining and improving this cherished location has intensified, as she envisions a future that respects the airfield’s history and community spirit while welcoming new possibilities for all visitors.
