On Columbus Day Weekend October 2022, supporters of the airfield gathered for an opening party of the new Hangar to get a first glance of the building!! The donor and supporters walkway was complete and everyone enjoyed seeing their cobblestones and touring of the new building. Michael Creato , Chairman of the Katama Airfield Trust graciously thanked everyone for their dedication and support of the building project.
